It makes sense that one would bite a book. There are tiny teeth marks on one of my copies of "Night Before Christmas". I remember sucking on that book because I loved it so much. I was about 2 or 3.
Books are pretty magical. They excite our senses but not directly. This can be disturbing. They don't look like a meadow, but they describe it. They don't smell like a truck, but they evoke that too.
I completely agree! This was the first book the kiddo had read by herself and it makes perfect sense she would have dived in with all senses! Thanks for the comment.
