"Mrs. Lipstick, when did you get pretty?"
"Mrs. Lipstick, when did you get pretty?" a kindergartner exclaimed tonight when she saw me at back-to-school night. I'd seen her a mere 3 hours earlier.
Who knew my back-to-school night change of clothes had could alter my appearance so much?
I think you "get pretty" when you are yourself. Not "a teacher", just you doing what God intended you to do. I'm sure you're stunning when you are on fire with your kids.
Your comments on my blog are a godsend. Just what did you change into? Did you do up your hair?
The kids do seem to strip off pretense, don't they?
